1. Basic Planning Package: Free consultation appointment (about 1 hour), no on-site measurement, and no drawing (floor plan and 3D simulation). Customers must provide the current floor plans, furniture dimensions & furniture placement positions to IKEA designers, and designers will provide interior design advice. This package is suitable for partial and single-space planning or same product series system cabinet planning.
2. Complete Planning Package: Please make an online appointment in advance, an assigned IKEA designer will provide customized design proposals for customers. A design fee is required. IKEA designers provide on-site measurement, interior design proposals, and floor plan drawing services. This package is suitable for overall space planning for homes with one bedroom and one living room or larger layouts.

 

• One on-site measurement per address.
• Design fees and travel expenses for areas outside Taipei City must be paid before the measurement.
• Drawings are expected to be completed within 10 working days (the timeframe for spaces over 50 pings to be discussed separately.)
• Includes one in-store discussion at IKEA (about 2 hours), one modification of the drawings, and one version of the quotation.
• Design fees are charged based on the actual size of the space measured, if the actual size is larger than the projected size on which the prepaid design fee is based, then the design fee difference must be paid.
• On-site Measurement Service Areas: Taipei City, New Taipei City (Xinzhuang, Banqiao, Sanchong, Wugu, Taishan, Luzhou, Shulin, Zhonghe, Yonghe, Tucheng, Xindian, Linkou, Sanxia, Yingge, Tamsui, Bali, Xizhi), Keelung, Yilan, Taoyuan. Measurement and design services are not available in other areas.
• Travel Expenses for On-site Measurement Outside the City:
  • Travel expenses are non-refundable after measurement.
  • Keelung, Taoyuan (excluding Guishan): NT$800
  • Yilan: NT$1,200

Terms & Conditions

• IKEA home planning solutions do not include accessories decoration and custom-made furniture services.
• IKEA does not provide construction work such as masonry, carpentry, partitions, flooring, tiles, painting, wallpaper, and electrical and plumbing work.
• The fee for the complete home planning package can be paid via bank transfer, designated credit cards or in cash at the Home Furnishing Service Planning Hub in the IKEA Taipei stores.
• Design fees and travel expenses are non-refundable after on-site measurements.
• Home accessories arrangements are not included in the design service.
• For areas under 50 pings, drawings will be delivered within 10 working days after on-site measurement; for areas over 50 pings, the timeframe will be discussed separately.
• Customers must complete their home renovation before the arrival and assembly of IKEA furniture.
• Orders will be based on the final confirmed and signed quotation. If there are out-of-stock items, alternatives will be suggested and confirmed with the customer.
• If the assembly team caused any product defects or damage after delivery, please provide proof within three days of service completion. IKEA will assist in product replacement. Claims made outside this timeframe will not be accepted. Unsealed, assembled items or issues based on personal preferences do not qualify for returns.
• IKEA reserves the right to final modifications. Details are subject to in-store announcements.
