Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height”, and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Environment

By using a renewable material like wood in this product, we avoid using fossil or finite materials. The cotton in this product is grown with less water, less chemical fertilizers and less chemical pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. That way, we lower our environmental impact. We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways.

Care instructions

Cover

Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron, max 150°C.
Professional dry cleaning in tetrachloroethene and hydrocarbons, normal process.

Frame

Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
