A typical Swedish classic. Sweet and crispy with fine almond crumbs and a fiery hint of ginger.
A traditional Swedish Christmas biscuit. Today enjoyed all year round.
Conveniently served as they are. For example with coffee and good friends as “fika” – coffee break Swedish style.

The spicy flavour of ginger thins comes from cinnamon, ginger and cloves. They’re traditionally consumed around Christmas, but of course you can enjoy them all year round. What matters most is that they’re simply delicious. Enjoy them as they are with a cup of coffee during “fika” – or try them with blue cheese on slightly more festive occasions.
Every country has its known-by-all, loved-by-all types of biscuits, pastries and cakes. These are ours. Enough kinds for everyone to find a personal favourite. Ideally stocked at home for convenient serving whenever good friends pop by, eager for “fika” – coffee break Swedish style. No time for preparation. Plenty of time for friends.
Fika—a little Swedish word with a lot of meaning. It's a treasured Swedish tradition of taking moments together over good coffee and baked treats. We want to share this tradition with the world, so we created KAFFEREP, a food series featuring fika faves like ginger thins and oat biscuits (which all go great with a cup of IKEA coffee). You don't need a lot of time to bake and prep to enjoy fika. You just need enough time to be with family and friends.
