Join us in protecting the planet with our little ones and building a sustainable future! If you have books at home suitable for children aged 3 to 6 that are no longer being read, you’re welcome to donate them to Småland or exchange 2 books for 1 new favorite to take home.
Book Exchange Steps
1. Prepare 2 children’s books and hand them to Småland staff.
2. Staff will check the book condition and count the number of books.
3. Once accepted, you may choose 1 book from the shelf.
4. Hand the selected book to the staff for registration, then take it home!
Accepted Book Conditions
1. Covers and pages must be intact, free from damage, yellowing, mold, water stains, graffiti, or missing pages.
2. Picture books should primarily feature illustrations with minimal text and must adhere to appropriate content standards.
3. Books should be suitable for children aged 3 to 6. Textbooks, magazines, or books requiring parental guidance are not accepted.
4. Saddle-stitched books cannot be exchanged due to safety concerns.
Only Chinese and English books are accepted, with a minimum of 20 pages and copyright information provided.
5. Books with accessories (e.g., cutouts, CDs) must include all components.
6. For 3 books, only 1 can be exchanged; for 4 books, 2 can be exchanged, and so on.
