The cover is made from Vissle dope-dyed fabric in polyester – a durable material with a smooth weave and a nice two-tone effect.

A cosy and embracing sofa bed where the functions are well concealed – both a bed and a storage space are hidden here.

Create an extra seat or a single bed by pulling the armrest and folding it down.

Under the seat, you’ll find a practical storage space that keeps your items hidden but close at hand.

The foldable armrest can be placed on either the right or left side, allowing you to adapt the sofa to your space.

Safety and compliance

The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

“SKÖNABÄCK sofa-bed can be used as a cosy embracing sofa with storage under the seat and be turned into a bed at night. The most enjoyable part of designing it was developing a mechanism that allows the sofa to quickly transform into an open day-bed for a nap or more seating for guests. It's kind of like a magic trick, and it’s fun to see people’s reactions! My idea is that the sofa should always adapt to changing needs – and be good-looking at all times.”
